Penguin Literary Fiction Reading Guides, Fiction Reading Guides, and Penguin Book Club each offer suggestions for varying levels of analysis.
Random House Book Club focuses more on popular works, and Teaching Guides are oriented toward teachers.

 Sort of a thing of the past. Publishers have embraced the Book Club approach, even for more literary classics, so less rigorous questions are being asked. Harper Collinns, Penguin, and Random House are promoting their own book clubs.
A market for teacher-made materials has become significant, especially through Teachers Pay Teachers. And, that’s not a bad thing. |
